NEXT STEPS:
- If the contract on your version 5.2 EFTPOS terminal is nearing renewal, please ensure that you DO NOT re-sign on this version - irrespective of the length of contract you have on your 5.2 terminal, it will no longer be able to accept electronic transactions as at 1 June 2014.
- Please contact your EFTPOS terminal provider to discuss your upgrade options (your terminal provider's information should be located on a sticker on your EFTPOS terminal).
More information on upgrading 5.2 version EFTPOS terminals will be available in Feb/March 2012 - please check back with us then.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
- Find your terminal ID on your EFTPOS receipt.
- Check your terminal version number by typing your terminal ID into the Are You Ready box to the right.
- If you are advised you require an upgrade or you have already been disconnected:
- Call your EFTPOS terminal provider today to schedule your upgrade and ensure that you are operating an up-to-date EFTPOS terminal
- If you do not know who your EFTPOS terminal provider is, look for a sticker on your EFTPOS terminal or contact your bank.
If you are operating a version 5.1 (or older) terminal, please contact your terminal provider immediately to arrange an upgrade. The certification on 5.1 terminals has already expired and they are not longer able to accept electronic payments.
